The purpose made funnel which is supplied with the Quill Garden Bird Drinker has been designed to make filling or topping-up the drinker easy. It has a convenient handle enabling filling to be carried out without the fear of wasting the water over the feeders.
N.B please fill with clean water only. |

The internal float gives an indication of the water level in the drinker and can easily be seen from a distance. The Quill Garden Bird Drinker holds approximately 1.75 litres of water. |

Three little feeding steps have been incorporated in seed feeder. Two near the base on either side with a central slightly higher in the middle. There are five small drainage holes in the base of the feeder to aid drainage in case water should inadvertently get in. |

The mesh is made from stainless steel so is extremely strong and weather resistant. This feeder also has holes in the base. Its huge capacity should keep the birds happy and occupied for a long time |

The ‘C’ hook enables the Quill Garden Bird Drinker to be easily hung from a variety of different objects via a strong piece of string. If squirrels are a major problem then hang the unit from a pole etc where they would have difficult reaching it and not from a tree where they have easy access.
N.B when the feeders and drinker are full the weight will be about 4KGS. |
